It all started when…
After two decades in fashion buying roles for major Australian retail brands (including Sportsgirl, SFG, Brown Sugar, Portmans, Just Jeans and Target) I was approached to do some styling work by a fashion industry modelling agency. This turned my focus to fashion styling and made me aware of the expertise my profession had given me to compose stylish outfits not just for models, but for a broad range of ages and body types.
The ensuing network of private clients looking for wardrobe building and personal shopping services developed and led to the birth of Issell Style.
My clients often comment how I obviously love this work, and I realise how my engagement with fashion and knowledge of the industry gives me a real insight in how to best invest my clients time and money on a unique, functional and stylish wardrobe that is about them, and not just the clothes.
